Microphysical Plasma Processes in Astrophysics
 
Abstract:
We illuminate the role and importance of microphysical processes in the treatment of some 
astrophysical plasmas. Such processes turn out to be inevitable to be taken into account in 
considering reconnection and particle acceleration in reconnection as the source of radiation, as well as the evolutionary and radiative properties of relativistic astrophysical jets.
